Sonder turns the patterns between you and your partner into something you can see and name. It is for insight and connection — not therapy, counseling, or diagnosis. This page explains, plainly, what we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your email— only if you give it to us to receive your reading and (if you opt in) updates about the Sonder app.
- Your assessment answers— used in the moment to generate your reading. We don’t store your raw answers or your full report on our servers after it’s generated.
- A short summary label— a high-level “archetype” (e.g. your attachment + conflict style) is kept alongside your email so we understand our audience.
- Basic technical data— your IP address is used transiently to prevent abuse (rate limiting) and is not stored as part of your profile.
How we use it
To generate your reading, to email it to you and send app-launch updates if you opted in, and to keep the service working and free of abuse. That’s it.
What we don't do
We do not sell or rent your data. We do not use your relationship answers for anything beyond generating your reading. We do not retain your full report after it’s delivered.
Service providers
We rely on a few trusted processors to run Sonder: Anthropic (generates your reading), Resend (email), Google (our internal contact list), Vercel (hosting), and Cloudflare (bot protection). Each only receives what it needs to do its job.
Your choices
You can ask us to access or delete your data, or unsubscribe from updates, at any time — just email zack@sondrapp.com and we’ll take care of it. Every update email will also include an unsubscribe link.
A note on sensitive data
Relationship reflections are personal. We treat them as such, collect as little as possible, and never share them. If anything in your reading suggests you’d benefit from real support, please reach out to a licensed professional — Sonder is a mirror, not a clinician.
